Taste of music
The other day I was listening to some latest tamil movie songs and suddenly I became conscious of the genre of music I was listening too. I was pleasantly surprised. I was enjoying songs from the classical based songs like Katril Varum (Carnatic) from Oru Naal Oru Kanavu and Kanda Naal Mudhal (more in the category of World Music) from Kanda Naal Mudhal to the rock genre of Yakkai Thirai from Ayutha Ezhuthu and Pushing it Hard from Kanda Naal Mudhal to Appadi Podu from Gilli and Appan Potta Veththali from Thiruppachi and also some jazz and blues in Merke Merke and Pani Thuli from Kanda Naal Muthal. Pop from Hollaback Girl is also quite to hear. This kind of covers the whole spectrum of the genre of music. Usually people listen mainly to a single genre. Is this because of the lack of an acute music knowledge or otherwise is a big question. But what is there to it? I like to hear them and that is all that matters right? BTW, what is the music genre you are hooked on to?
