I think most of us have some or the other person as our idol, if not all. We always have a tendency to look up to somebody, to give us hope, inspiration, motivation etc. Well, some of you might not subscribe to this but believe it or not we would be looking upto or admiring someone and at one point of time we would have felt (if not will feel) to be like him/her.
As children our role models were our parents for sure (past tense used as this might have changed now). As we grow older we tend to look at the celebrities like sports stars, politicians, movie stars etc. If not at least we would definitely like to live a life of a character we read in some novels or seen in movies. All this is good. But how about our peers? Do we ever take them as our role models? The probability is very less. They would infact make the best role models as we know them both personally and professionally (professionalism can also be attributed to students too).
We can learn a lot from our peers. Each one has his/her own unique strength which we can definitely try to adapt ourselves. This way we not only benefit but also build a good rapport with them and our professional life becomes much easier.
