Complexity of Life is O(n^n)

As a child life seems so simple. All a child needs is food, toys, friends to play with, a family and few other insignificant things (enumerated in no particular order). But as one grows into adolescence life starts to become more complicated. One starts to begin to think about how one looks, marks at school, experimenting new avenues and if not then the fear of being judged as timid, coward etc.
College starts to get even more complicated and chaotic. One is neither an adult nor is a child. This is a tricky phase as you are never aware as to when one is to be a kid and when to be an adult. Also, this is the phase when peer pressure is very high. This is the time when one has to make most of the choices that will shape the person's life and future. And with the ever increasing complexity in this world, the choices are ever more difficult to make.
Then comes the phase when one is truly an adult. I guess, this is the most difficult phase with every possible responsibility thrust on oneself and one can find all sorts of them, from individual to social , from moral to legal. Everything we say or do is bound to scrutiny by everybody related to your life. It seems like everyone is out to get you. It seems like an eternal struggle which one cannot ever win but cannot stop trying and if you are the type that likes to change the world or strive for perfection and you find that you have limited resources and capabilities, then the frustration and anger that builds up is unbearable. One has to always keep proving to the world one's worth. Just imaging, any word you say can be racial vilification, or disrespect to something or somebody, arrogance, ignorance, abuse and so on. There is so much to learn, such as, technology, politics, environment, culture, language, law etc.
This is the price one has to pay in return to be accepted in this "civilized" society. And it hits one more when you realize that your parents have never uttered a word of frustration.
The complexity increases with every phase, year, month, day,....
Why cannot life be more easier and manageable? All hail the human civilization.
