Are these necessary

This time the break has been very short. The previous blog has invoked some very aggressive responses. This in a way is good as I know that my weblogs are read.
I do not know how many of you follow this serial 'Chidambara Ragasiyam' on Sun TV. I can sense your reaction. This serial is not a soap opera where litres of glycerin are used but on 'Nadi Josiyam' or simply called Astrology using Fingerprints about which I have blogged prior. There was a statement made in the serial.
To hear is ears necessary, is eyes necessary to see, do we need language to express our emotions. This should not be taken in the literal meaning. For example, all of us know that snakes have no ears but it still can sense (shall we say hear) a prey, it is also known that some people talk to plants to encourage them to grow, in foreign country where people speak a language which we do not understand we can still figure out whether they are reprimanding us, booing us, querying us, etc. This is also the philosophy that most martial arts emphasize on.
Amazing is it not.

I read this in some book. Imagine this situation : A man is confined to some sort of a box(right from birth). His nutrition is fed directly into his blood. He has no contact with the physical world i.e. he's not given an opportunity to use his sense organs even once. If such a person(u could call him an alien!) were to suddenly be set free into the world at say the age of 20. What kind of "knowledge" or "ideas" would he have? The crux of this paradox is Does man's ideas originate from his contact with the world or from his mind/brain? Remember, the above mentioned person was never confined from thinking! What could have been his thoughts? Interesting question....don't u think?
